Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty
Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress, born in Berkeley on October 1, 1995. She is best known for her acting appearing on screen in Choices (2011), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004) and Chrissie Mair's Content House. Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into an extended family of actors and filmmakers. Both are careers she herself has been pursuing. Her debut came at the age of nine years old, in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni (1985). She played the leading role in Cristina Comencini's Zoo (1988) as well as a part of Michele Savi's 1989 film The Church. Red Wood Pigeon, directed by Moretti in 1989, was her role as Nanni Moretti's daughter. Close Friends (1992) by Michele Placido (both writer and director) is the year that Asia truly began to take off. It let her progress from roles that were primarily young girls to more complicated, mature characters. The film was given a positive response during the Cannes International Film Festival. The Phantom
